The Engineered Nanoparticle Testing Platform is developed to address the needs of society to ensure safe and responsible implementation of nanotechnology. Whilst it does involve innovative research methodoloiges where approriate, it focusses more on establishment and systematic application of techniques and standards to determine if there is potential risk for a given nanoparticle system. The Platfrom works closely with international bodies, industry, regulators and agencies to promote the application of these approaches. It welcomes new challanges from industry to investigate specific nanoparticle types.
